The 400G PAM4 QSFP-DD DR4 optical transceiver is intended for 500m reach up to 4x 106Gbps PAM4 single mode 400Gbps communications equipment where cost effective, extraordinary performance and reliability are essential. The product is designed for 500m links Application of Data Center which meet 400G DR4 specification. On the transmitter side, 8-channel electrical lanes which is capable of 53.125Gbps PAM4 data per lane converted into 4-channel 106.25Gbps PAM4 optical lane by gearbox. On the receive side, 4-channel 106.25Gbps PAM4 optical lane converted into 8-channel 53.125Gbps PAM4 electrical lanes. Module-level digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP-DD MSA.
