Vibration Damper

The 4D-series vibration damper is a dedicated vibration-damping fitting for optical cables. Adopting a differential weight-block design with large and small weights, it protects cables against vibration-induced fatigue damage. It features stable operation and compatibility with a broad range of cable specifications.

Product Introduction:

The 4D-series vibration damper mainly consists of three components: aluminium alloy clamp, high-tensile galvanized-steel messenger cable and galvanized cast-iron weights. The weights are bonded to the messenger cable by glue. Featuring four resonant frequencies, the product operates across a frequency range of 6 Hz – 120 Hz, delivering a much broader effective damping bandwidth compared with conventional Stockbridge dampers.
