Suspension Set

The OPGW suspension set can be divided into single suspension set and double suspension set. Adopting a preformed bolt-free structure, it is used for supporting and protecting overhead optical cables on straight-line towers. It effectively buffers stress damage caused by aeolian vibration and galloping to ensure the safe operation of optical cables.

Product Introduction:

The suspension set consists of components including U shackle, eye link, housing, EPDM resilient insert, aluminum-clad steel structural reinforcing rods, high-strength aluminum alloy outer rods, parallel groove clamp and ground wire set. The armor rods grip the optical cable, while the resilient rubber insert distributes clamping stress to realize suspension and fixation of the optical cable. The matching ground wire set provides electrical earthing. For the double suspension configuration, the yoke plate enables double-point clamping to meet the requirements of large-angle transmission lines.

Core Advantages:

Excellent Protection Performance: The combination of structural reinforcing rods, outer rods and resilient insert reduces compression, clamping and bending stresses on the optical cable. It mitigates damages to the cable caused by aeolian vibration, galloping and wind sway, and protects optical fibers from damage.
Weather Resistance and Anti-aging Property: The EPDM resilient insert resists ozone attack and extreme high-low temperature variations. An aluminum alloy reinforcement is embedded inside the elastomer, ensuring stable performance for long-term outdoor service.
Reliable Clamping Grip Strength: The slip load can reach 14%‑20% of the OPGW rated strength, providing sufficient holding force to prevent cable slippage.
