The ZTNAir-12 series is an SF₆-free,modular, and fully sealed gas-insulated switchgear designed for medium-voltage distribution, control, and protection.It is widely deployed across utility grids, industrial facilities, and renewable energy applications.

Product Description

ZTNAir-12 series comprises fully-sealed gas-insulated HV switchgear conforming to IEC 62271-1 and GB/T 3906.Integrating VCBs, three-position disconnectors, earthing switches, CTs and VTs, it provides monitoring, control and protection for 10 kV networks. On short-circuit, overload or earth faults, the protective relay trips the breaker to clear the fault and safeguard the rest of the system; local/remote close-open operation is available via the control circuit, while CTs/VTs feed signals to protection and metering for real-time monitoring and data logging.

Product Advantages

Modular Compact Structure： Equipped with vacuum circuit breakers and three-position disconnectors; cabinet widths available in 550 / 600 / 800 / 1000 mm, depths of 1150 mm / 1450 (1650) mm. Complete five-safety mechanical interlocks effectively prevent mal-operation; the fully-sealed gas tank isolates live HV parts from the external environment.
Excellent Electrical Performance： Rated currents cover 630 A, 1250 A, 2500 A and 3150 A; rated short-circuit breaking currents of 31.5 kA and 40 kA, meeting the current-carrying and breaking requirements of distribution systems across different capacities.
Intelligent Management： Can integrate digital measuring & control instruments, wireless temperature monitoring, and gas-density monitoring modules (optional); supports communication protocols such as Modbus and interfaces with SCADA and distribution-automation systems to enable equipment status acquisition, fault alarm, and remote O&M.
High Safety Protection： Fully-sealed, fully-insulated gas tank isolates the equipment from external conditions such as humidity, dust and condensation. Equipped with a directional pressure-relief channel; the enclosure uses high-strength anti-corrosion panels to ensure reliable operation under harsh conditions.
Green & Eco-Friendly： Uses dry air or N₂ as the insulating medium — no SF₆ greenhouse gas — eliminating the compliance costs of SF₆ recovery, leak detection, and supporting the achievement of the “dual-carbon” goals.
