Repeatered Submarine Fiber Optic Cable

ZTT’s Repeatered Submarine Optical Cable has obtained international UJC certification. It is suitable for intercontinental transoceanic long-distance, low-loss, high-bit-rate repeatered submarine communication systems, as well as subsea observation networks and marine three-dimensional monitoring systems.

It supports up to 96 optical fibres, with a maximum operating voltage of 20 kVDC and maximum deployment water depth of 8,000 m. The product range includes DA, SA, LWP and LW cable types.

  • High Voltage Capacity
Up to 20 kV operation reduces current and power loss. Precision HDPE extrusion guarantees high reliability.
  • Deep-Sea Operation
Rated for 8,000 meters depth. Tested at 127MPa with real-time optical attenuation and insulation integrity monitoring.
  • Low Signal Attenuation
G.654D optical fibers maintain attenuation below 0.16 dB/km.
  • Fiber Type: G652D, G654D, G655
  • Max Fiber Count: 96 cores
  • Max Operating Voltage: 20 kV
  • Conductor Resistance: ≤1.0 Ω/km
  • Max Applicable Water Depth: 8,000 m
  • Attenuation Coefficient: ≤0.185 dB/km (G652D); ≤0.155 dB/km (G654D)
  • Transcontinental communications backbone infrastructure
  • Government secure network operations
  • Deep-sea scientific monitoring (seismology, climate research)
  • Offshore energy platform control networks
