The 60 MW/120 MWh energy storage station at the Guohua Rudong Integrated Solar, Hydrogen and Energy Storage Project has officially connected to the grid and entered operation, marking another major milestone in the development of this integrated clean energy project.

Located in Rudong County, Jiangsu Province, the project is a national demonstration initiative integrating renewable power generation, hydrogen production and energy storage. It is jointly advanced by the Rudong County Government, CHN Energy Guohua Energy Investment, CHN Energy Beijing Low-Carbon Clean Energy Research Institute, and ZTT.
With the 400 MW solar power plant already fully operational and cumulative electricity fed into the grid exceeding 750 million kWh, the newly commissioned storage station completes two of the project’s three core components, connecting renewable power generation with energy storage.
The storage station features 60 MW of power capacity and 120 MWh of energy capacity. It will help balance electricity supply and demand, support peak-load regulation, and coordinate with solar generation and future hydrogen production to improve renewable energy utilization.
Once the hydrogen production facility is operational, the project is expected to produce approximately 482 tonnes of high-purity green hydrogen annually, creating an integrated energy system that links solar power generation, energy storage and green hydrogen production.
As a key contributor to this initiative, ZTT is committed to advancing integrated clean energy solutions and supporting the transition toward a more flexible, efficient and sustainable energy system.
