We're proud to announce the successful grid connection of the first turbines at the Three Gorges Dafeng 800MW Offshore Wind Project - a landmark achievement constructed by ZTT that now holds the record as China's farthest grid-connected offshore wind installation at 53 miles from shore.

As lead contractor, ZTT delivered integrated turnkey solutions spanning submarine cable systems and full-scope EPCI services. We provided all submarine cables and accessories, ensuring robust and reliable power transmission across unprecedented distances. Our team also executed the complete installation process for nearly 100 turbines, including specialized cable laying across complex seabed terrain.

The project demanded pioneering solutions for extreme conditions: Our engineers mastered large-turbine deployment in ultra-shallow zones and operationalized advanced techniques for deep-water installations across variable depths. Through optimized cluster development of multiple wind fields, ZTT achieved significant cost efficiencies while maintaining precision engineering standards.

Upon full commissioning, the wind farm will:

• Generate 2.6 billion kWh of clean electricity annually

 • Power approximately 1.1 million households

 • Reduce CO₂emissions by 2 million tons per year

This achievement demonstrates ZTT's leadership in delivering complex offshore projects at the forefront of renewable energy technology. By overcoming extreme maritime challenges, we're accelerating progress toward global decarbonization goals while setting standards for remote offshore wind projects.

At ZTT, we're redefining what's possible in offshore wind - bringing together cutting-edge innovation, unmatched scale, and sustainable solutions to power the world's energy transition, from coastal waters to the most demanding deep-sea environments.
