On November 20, at the opening of the 2025 APC Global Optical Fiber and Cable Conference held at the Nantong International Conference Center, ZTT unveiled a major scientific breakthrough in the “Quantum Teleportation over Hollow-Core Optical Fiber Channels” project, attracting widespread attention across the industry.

Quantum teleportation is a core technology for building the future quantum internet, and the performance of its transmission channels directly determines the security and stability of quantum communications. In this newly released achievement, ZTT worked closely with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Sichuan Telecom, the Tianfu Jiangxi Laboratory, and other partners. Together, the team successfully completed the world’s first validation of quantum teleportation over a hollow-core optical fiber channel on China Telecom’s experimental line—marking multiple key technological breakthroughs in quantum information interconnection.
As a leading enterprise in the optical fiber and cable industry, ZTT has long taken “differentiated innovation” as its driving force. The company has built a complete industrial chain covering optical preform rods, optical fibers, optical cables, and optical components, earning global recognition for its technological strength and product quality.
This milestone achievement not only reinforces ZTT’s leadership position in cutting-edge technologies but also accelerates the development of China’s future quantum industry—laying a solid foundation for building secure and reliable quantum communication networks.
