Recently, ZTT Group held the 2024 Intellectual Property Qualification Application, IP Specialist Exam, and Intellectual Property Engineer Qualification Evaluation. In this year’s selection, all five employees who earned the qualification as Intellectual Property Engineers are women, reflecting ZTT’s recognition of women’s contributions in intellectual property management.
Intellectual property, as intangible assets, only truly realize their value when applied in the market. ZTT has committed to putting over 80% of its patent applications into industrial use, bridging innovation with business development. Additionally, the operationalization of intellectual property assets remains a crucial pathway for realizing patent value.
“Intellectual property serves as a safeguard for innovation results and a concentrated embodiment of our company’s innovation capabilities. Over the years, ZTT has achieved outstanding results in the global market due to our emphasis on independent innovation and long-term investment in intellectual property,” said Xie Shuhong, Chief Engineer and Intellectual Property Director of ZTT.
ZTT’s intellectual property management team, comprising the Group’s Technology Committee and various IP specialists, is responsible for patent proposals, patent searches, and daily patent management. Our Intellectual Property Review Committee, made up of experts in technology, market, and intellectual property, comprehensively evaluates matters such as PCT international applications, patent maintenance, licensing, transfers, and patent-based investments. This evaluation activity is crucial in fostering a professional intellectual property talent pool, which supports our sustainable development.
The five female Intellectual Property Engineers who were certified this year not only demonstrate exceptional expertise in their field but also reflect ZTT’s proactive efforts to empower women in company management and leadership roles.
