ZTT has put the optic fiber composite power cable for BBU+RRU systeminto production. This type of cable can replace feeder cable and be used in base station construction so as to reduce the load of towers (one optic fiber composite power cable can replace a couple of feeder cables). It can largely reduce installation time and expenses, meanwhile, the existing installation fittings such as ground kits and fixtures can be reused. It is estimated that the cost could be reduced by 30% if the FTTA composite solution would be implemented throughout the whole Europeannetwork.

ZTT will display this system at CMMA2013( June 18th-21st) in Singapore.
