ZTT Secures Leading Position in Chinese Submarine Area by Winning New $128 million Contract

Currently, ZTT Group - leading global manufacturer of cable systems, is proud to announce ZTT has received notifications of award in two submarine engineering projects, Zhoushan-Yushan 220kV transmission and transformation project 220kV submarine cable and power cable (hereinafter referred to as Zhoushan 220kV submarine project) with total amount of 200 million RMB and Rudong H3# 35kV & 220kV submarine fiber optical composite cable & accessory (hereinafter referred to as Rudong 35kV & 220kV submarine project) with total amount of 650 million RMB.

Zhoushan 220kV submarine project is located in Daishan county and has become the key project of “Yushan Green Petrochemical ”. In order to provide the guarantee of electricity demand for Zhoushan Green Petrochemical base and improve the reliability and safety of grid’s power supply, the project selected ZTT as the supplier of 220kV 1600mm2 crosslinked polyethylene insulated single submarine cable, submarine fiber optical composite cable and power cable with the length of single submarine cable achieving 20km.

ZTT has not only provided 104km 3×500mm2 crosslinked polyethylene insulated fiber optical composite cable which the single length achieves 52km and becomes the longest one in China, but also supplied 133km 35kV 3core submarine fiber optical submarine cable for Rudong 35kV & 220kV submarine project.

As China’s submarine cable system supplier with strongest R&D strength, most application achievement and rich experience in research & development of great length EHV submarine cable, production technique and quality control, ZTT is confident in fulfilling quality and quantity requirements for these two submarine projects and better serving state grid and offshore wind plant.
