China, 11 June 2017, the first circuit transmission line of State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Qiuteng – Gaowang 220kV Transmission Project has been officially energized, declaring China’s largest single 220kV high-voltage power cable has been put into use.

This transmission project has selected ZTT 220kV-2500mm2 HVAC power cable with single length of 1.45km, which has set China’s record in the length of single cable, weight of the single drum, dimension of the drum, etc. The successful operation of the power cable marks ZTT’s milestone in the development history of China’s high-voltage power cable system.

In the construction of the “State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Qiuteng – Gaowang 220kV Transmission Project”, ZTT has transformed and upgraded the key equipment and technological process again according to its successful experience, delivering the cables several times larger than those usual products to reduce the use of the connectors in the transmission lines.
