8 May 2017, ZTT Group - leading global manufacturer of cable systems, sent China’s first all aluminum alloy conductor with low-wind-pressure and moderate intensity to “Zhongtian-Meizhou 110kV Transmission Project” for the construction of power grid engineering  under the special environment.

“Zhongtian-Meizhou 110kV Transmission Project” is China’s first transmission line which adopts low-wind-pressure and moderate intensity all aluminum alloy conductor (AAAC). The project located between the seaside town and island, and wind speed reached 37m/s. Conductors of the overhead transmission lines strong effected by the wind pressure, taking up from 50% to 70% of the whole transmission lines. The wind pressure for the conductor greatly affected the strength design of the base of the iron tower and itself. Reducing the wind pressure of the conductor can improve the safety of the transmission operating, leading ZTT low wind pressure AAAC being the best choice for this kind of transmission lines.

As early as 2012, ZTT has begun to develop and research the conductor with low-wind-pressure and finally succeed in developing this series conductor by passing national technological identification in 2012. Experts identified that, compared with the normal conductors, the-low wind-pressure conductor developed by ZTT can greatly improve the stability and safety for the transmission operating, by reducing about 30% wind pressure to prevent burned conductor falling off, fitting abrasion, line tripping and pole leaning caused by wind blowing.

Under the Company cultural leading of “Precision Manufacturing”, ZTT would fully ensure the production and on-time delivery of China’s first energy-saving and low-wind-pressure conductor, again adding lustre to its industrial reputation “ZTT, home of special conductor”.
