Shanghai, March 28 2017, ZTT Group - leading global manufacturer of cable systems, won the first prize of Shanghai Technical Invention Award, regarding as “Key technology and application of high performance aluminum alloy overhead conductor”.

It is understood that the annual meeting of Shanghai science and technology award, which is aimed at commending the enterprises and institutions as well as scientific and technological workers those who have made outstanding contributions to scientific & technological innovation and economic & social development in Shanghai. Mr. You Weiren, Chief Engineer of ZTT Conductor, attended the meeting and received the award.

The project of “Key technology and application of high performance aluminum alloy overhead conductor” is a fruitful result, which has made by Shanghai Jiaotong University and ZTT. Mr. You Weiren said, “There are three technical invention points of the project, Melt quality control, grain refining and Solidification process control. All these have solved a series of problems that cannot be conquered for a long time, such as high strength, high conductivity, heat-resisting, anti-ice and so on.”

ZTT high performance aluminum alloy overhead conductor, which has been successfully researched and achieved a lot of innovative results, such as United States Patent Authorization, sixteen Chinese invention patents, four utility model patents and a software copyright registration. It has formed a complete technical collection with independent intellectual property rights.
