ZTT OPGW, Your Partner in State Grid UHV & Large Span Projects

Nantong, February 7 2017, ZTT Group - leading global manufacturer of cable systems, won the bidding of "Changji - Guquan 1100kV UHV DC Transmission Line project" and "Zhejiang Zhoushan 500kV Network Transmission Project" from State Grid, and successfully got the supply right of OPGW and fittings.

Changji - Guquan ±1100kV UHV DC Transmission Line Project is the world's first 1100kV UHV DC transmission line with the highest voltage, the largest capacity, the longest distance and the most advanced technology. It is an important milestone of State Grid in the field of UHV transmission, refreshing the new height of the world grid technology.

Zhejiang Zhoushan 500kV Network Transmission Project is the transformation of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Corporation from Ningbo to Zhoushan, the circuit consists of 2 parts, the overhead transmission line and submarine cable. The bid of OPGW is the part of overhead transmission line, and the largest span is 4.2km.

ZTT has rich experience in design, manufacture and application of OPGW, accumulating more than 50 domestic and foreign large span projects to provide qualified OPGW and fittings. In 2009, ZTT supplied OPGW to build the 220kV Zhoushan and the mainland interconnection transmission line. In 2015, ZTT developed the largest strength OPGW of the largest crossing with ultra-high strength OPGW-350T.
